Online Booking System
Welcome to the Children's Safety Village of Brant's online booking system. Before you begin, please read over what the Safety Village has to offer. You can print copies of this information by clicking the various print and download buttons below.
Please note that these courses are concurrent, and we recommend finding another teacher to bring along to the Safety Village. This will cut bussing costs, making it easier for parents and teachers. Please make sure to review the courses offered and talk to any teachers who may be interested before filling out the form. Each teacher is responsible for booking their own session.
The Safety Village is fully accessible to all children, including children with special needs.
Important Notes about available courses
- Police and Fire programs are appoximately 80 minutes in length.
- Morning classes are from 9:30am - 11:00am and afternoon classes are from 1:00pm - 2:30pm..
- Police programs include an outdoor portion and take place in ALL weather conditions, unless the weather is extreme or cancelled by the school, so please dress accordingly.
- Class size: Class sizes are limited to 30 students (Grade 1 ~ 6 only; JK/SK 25 students maximum).
- Grade 3 students are required to bring their own bicycle helmets to participate.
- Nutrition Break: The Safety Village does not supply food and drinks. If you require a nutrition break for your group, please make prior arrangements with the instructor.
- Transportation: Bussing to the Safety Village is solely the responsibility of the teacher/youth program to arrange; busses must be PROMPT for pickup times (11:00am or 2:30pm). Sharp and 1st Student Bus Lines have an occupancy rate of up to 65 persons within the City of Brantford and County of Brant.
- Supervision: Parent volunteers or additional counselors are recommended to provide adequate supervision during the outdoor portion of the class (please do not bring your other small children if you are supervising).
- NOTE: PARKING LOT AT REAR OF SAFETY VILLAGE ONLY
- Summer camps have different class size allowances (35 students) and runs for 2 hours. Please make sure to check the event details prior to booking.
- It is the policy of the CSV that Videotaping and/or photography of scheduled, booked classroom programs shall not be permitted. (please DOWNLOAD policy, if necessary)
Police - Grade 3

- Bikes are provided; a few scooters and bikes with training wheels are available for non bike riding students

Summer Camp

These courses are held between July and August and cover the following:
The Children’s Safety Village will be offering a very limited number of City Police Safety Classes which will include:
- · PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN Safety Scavenger Hunt
- · An outdoor portion to include either riding the jeeps (approx. under 8 yrs of age) and/or bikes (approx. over 8 yrs of age).
- Bikes are provided; a few scooters and bikes with training wheels are available for non bike riding students.
Note: Summer classes allow for 35 students,
TIMES: Morning classes 9:30 – 11:30am / Afternoon classes: 12:30-2:30pm Police - Grade 1

- Kitchen Safety / Home Alone

NEW 4 weeks: 2 weeks after March Break & 2 weeks ~ during EQAO TESTING –
CITY OF BRANTFORD ~ WEDNESDAY, THURSDAY & FRIDAY
COUNTY OF BRANT ~ TUESDAYS ONLY- 40 minutes with Police or Fire Safety
- 25 minute nutrition break (Bring Your Own)
- Switch classrooms for an additional 40 minutes of instruction with the Police or Fire Department.
Note: TIMES: 9:30 am & afternoon classes start at 1:00pm, and the total visit time is approximately 105 minutes.
JK/SK: CLASS SIZE LIMITED TO 25 STUDENTS… Fire - Grade 2
